Exploring Khon Kaen

Khon Kaen, Thailand Photo from Mr ATM
Brenden & Becca Miller departed for an exploratory short term missions trip to Thailand. They will be in Thailand from May 24 to June 4. Please pray for them. Please find below their prayer requests.

"We wanted to leave you with some prayer requests for us, if you pray, or well-wishes, if you don’t.
  • Safety: uneventful travels, on-time flights, and minimal discomforts (ie: swollen legs) over our 30 hrs of travel each way
  • Health: especially for Becca and baby, no sicknesses in general, no food sicknesses, strong and energetic bodies, and that baby would stay tucked away and happy in the womb during the next 2 weeks
  • Pray against fear: Becca has been more nervous about flying than she has been in the past, likely a combination of worrying about baby’s health and not having taken a plane trip this long as well as not having flown regularly for the past 5 years. Pray comfort and peace and excitement instead.
  • Vision and Clarity: That our time with the Encompass team would be encouraging and enlightening to all involved. Meeting the team and country and seeing how we would fit in with God’s plan for Khon Kaen are our primary purposes for going. We have high hopes. May God grant the clarity we need to make next steps upon returning home.
  • Protection: against any obstacles or hindrances. May it be a smooth, blessed, restful trip.
  • May God be glorified in all we do. Praise Him with us for His faithfulness, provision, and giving us all the ability to live life to the fullest. As Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest!” Amen."
